M2DP stands for More to the Point. That is not a slogan, it is how we work. Projects rarely fail because teams lack knowledge. They fail because of chaos: unclear scope, shifting priorities, decisions that don't get made, and information that doesn't reach the people who need it.
Our approach started with a simple question: what is the most valuable thing you can do for a team that already knows how a project should work? The answer: remove the chaos. That has been the core theme of our work for the past 15 years.

A project under control is like a ship holding its course. There is a destination, a route, and a crew that knows what to do when conditions change. We don't take over the helm. We make sure the course is clear, the instruments work, and everyone on board is steering in the same direction.
Where we come from
M2DP is built on the track record of its founder, Marcel Deurhof: Project Director, Project Manager, Engineering Manager and head of Project Controls on major international EPC and energy projects, and General Manager Procurement responsible for €1–2 billion in annual spend. From refinery conversions in Portugal to mega-project recovery in Kuwait. Large and small projects, lump-sum and reimbursable, greenfield and brownfield.
That experience means we recognize the patterns behind project chaos quickly, and we know which interventions actually work.

How we put a team together
M2DP is led by Marcel Deurhof. He takes on the work, leads the engagement and remains accountable throughout. For each project, if necessary, he assembles a small team from a network of senior professionals he has worked with for years, across project management, engineering management, project controls, risk management, procurement and contracting, project start-up, and completion and handover. The composition follows the problem, not the other way around. You deal with one person, and that person has been on projects like yours.
