PROJECT 1

Porto Refinery Conversion Project (Galp/Petrogal), Portugal

Role: Project Manager / Deputy Project Director, later Project Director

€400+ million EPC refinery conversion, full lifecycle responsibility.

  • Managed procurement, contracting, project controls, estimating, risk management and engineering integration
  • Coordinated multiple international execution centers and local contractors
  • Led the lump-sum conversion strategy and project close-out

PROJECT 2

Clean Fuels Project ICSS (KNPC), Kuwait

Role: Project Manager

Largest-in-industry integrated control systems implementation, over $200 million.

  • Brought a delayed mega-project back under control
  • Scope: 80,000+ I/O points, 1,500+ automation cabinets, 40 buildings, 20+ process units
  • Delivered critical cutovers within a six-week brownfield shutdown window

Role: General Manager Procurement
