Introduction
M2DP (More to the Point) operates this website. This statement explains what personal data we process when you visit m2dp.pt or contact us, why we process it, and what rights you have. We keep it short because we collect very little. The controller is M2DP Consultaria Lda., registered in the Portuguese commercial register under NIPC PT-517268868, with its registered seat at Rua Mestre de Aviz 16, reachable at marcel.deurhof@m2dp.pt.
Data we collect
This site has a contact form, no newsletter and no account. Our hosting provider, Lovable, automatically processes technical server log data, including your IP address, in order to deliver and secure the site. If you use the contact form, email us or contact us through LinkedIn, we process your contact details and the content of your message so that we can reply and, where it leads to an engagement, manage that work. We do not use analytics cookies. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for profiling or automated decision making.
Legal basis and retention
We process server log data and reply to your messages on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a secure website and conducting business correspondence. Marketing cookies are placed only on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time through Cookie settings in the footer. Server logs are kept for 3 years. Correspondence is kept for as long as it remains relevant to our relationship with you, and records connected to an engagement are kept for the periods Portuguese law requires us to keep them.
Cookies
Functional cookies and local storage keep the site working and remember the cookie choice you made. Marketing cookies are set only after you allow them, and nothing in that category loads before you do. Your choice is stored in your own browser and can be changed at any time through Cookie settings in the footer. The categories are:

Your rights
You have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable form. Where processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time, without affecting anything done before you withdrew it. Email marcel.deurhof@m2dp.pt and we will respond within one month. If you believe we handle your data incorrectly, you can lodge a complaint with the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), the Portuguese data protection authority, at www.cnpd.pt.
